Born in Casablanca and raised in Holland, Mennana has been living in Germany for several years. Her repertoire is wide-ranging and consists of various musical styles such as rock & pop, soul & funk, country, blues, Moroccan folk and jazz.

She has performed at festivals and live events all over the world such as Rock am Ring (Germany), Lyon Bière Festival (France), Roskilde (Denmark), Visa For Music (Morocco), Womad Festival (Engeland), FFM Sines (Portugal), Salle Severo Ochoa (Morocco), Pinkpop (Holland), Wacken (Germany), Mawazin (Morocco) and Creation of Peace Festival in Russia.

The versatile rock singer has already toured with DeLaSoul and Manu Chao / Mano Negra and shared stages with Lenny Kravitz, Bob Geldof, Miles Davis, Salif Keita, Youssou N'Dour, Kool and the gang, Simply Red, Hot Chocolate, Red hot Chili Peppers, etc.
